What We Keep by Elizabeth Berg

This book was an easy read, with the transitions between past and present wonderfully written to make such a heavy topic easier to digest. I must admit that I sympathize with the mother though. It's not always easy living a life you never felt you were meant for. The end seems too movie like for me though. Not very realistic. One of those "oh, guess it's time to end the book" rushed endings. While I'd read it again in a bind, it's not one I'll go looking for ever again
